There is a unique kind of silence hidden within the loudest moments. Just after the long-awaited “Yes,” when the world seems to erupt in applause, there is often a split second in which two people see only each other. That is exactly the moment we captured with this wonderful couple. Surrounded by the joyful cheers of family and friends, they shared a kiss that spoke louder than any words ever could. The celebration in the background becomes a beautiful chorus, while the bride and bride remain in the quiet center of it all. Choosing black and white strips away every distraction, allowing emotion alone to tell the story. The venue helped a lot too. To us, this image is about more than a wedding kiss. It is about the freedom to love, the courage to choose one another, and the overwhelming joy of beginning a new chapter, witnessed by everyone who matters most. It is a timeless moment, filled with love in its purest form.

You can’t judge a book by its cover, but sometimes a collection of books can tell a beautiful story about the people who read them. In this image, we portrayed this lovely wedding couple not through a romantic pose, but through something deeply personal: their favorite authors and the stories that have shaped them. What makes this photograph special is that it celebrates not only their love for one another, but also the individuality they each bring into their marriage. Long before they became husband and wife, they were two unique people with their own passions, dreams, and perspectives. Those qualities remain an important part of who they are together. We are delighted that Wedisson recognized this concept. To us, this image is a tribute to identity, connection, and the idea that a strong marriage is built not only on love, but also on appreciating the unique story each person brings to the relationship.

This bridal couple isn't just head over heels in love with each other, but also insatiably crazy about cheeses... Italian, Dutch. It doesn't matter, as long as it's cheese. So with our Personal Art Styling tips, they quickly ended up at the Cheese Farm. From photos in the cow barn, on the hay bales, among the cheeses, and in the cheese shop itself. It resulted in a hilarious photoshoot, and this is one of them. A wonderful surprise that we get to make both the cheese farm and the bridal couple happy with this Award. Thank you so much!

There is a timeless charm and romance connected to old trains and historic railway stations. Throughout the many wedding stories we’ve had the pleasure of capturing, we’ve often found ourselves returning to these nostalgic places; usually because the couple had some personal connection to the railway in their lives or love story. For this sweet couple, S & S, that wasn’t the case at all. While searching for an out-of-the-box location near their wedding venue, they were drawn to the enchanting atmosphere of the old VSM railway grounds, where dozens of vintage locomotives and carriages still rest in quiet beauty. The character and history of the place immediately spoke to them. This intimate moment inside one of the classic carriages feels truly timeless. Choosing black and white only enhances that feeling. The symbolism of connection, the romance of bygone days, and the calm closeness of this lovely couple all come together in this single frame. A scene where past and present gently meet.

A beach wedding comes in many forms — at least in the Netherlands. The Dutch coastline is so unpredictable that, weather-wise, it’s comparable to Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. For D & D, it turned out to be a day with a pleasant temperature, fairly cloudy skies, and a strong breeze. Despite this, the North Sea was relatively calm. A perfect setting for this photograph, capturing the love of these two cheerful lovebirds

The symbolism of a dandelions' fluff. Whoever blows all the seeds away in a single breath may make a wish. Hope, longing, and dreams sent out into the world. But also the fleeting nature of life, letting go, and travelling without a destination. This wedding couple captures it all beautifully in this joyful photograph.

While shooting in the heart of the city of Utrecht we actually passed the tailor's shop where the groom purchased his suit. It started as a joke, it ended in this fun picture with the groom posing as a live mannequin. Kind of a challenging picture to take due to many bystanders reflected in the window as well, but it worked out well. We're pleased it resulted in the jury's appreciation.

The essence of romance is a soft spoken word, a tender smile, the trust and truth in the eyes of your sweetheart. It's all in this picture, with no color needed. A great young couple. Grateful to be a small part of their journey.
