Just married!

I asked them to run, and they absolutely nailed it. Flowing dresses, perfect energy, captured at this beautiful spot in historic Leiden on a very chilly day.

Shot from the balcony to reveal the full scale of this enormous cathedral where they were married.

I wanted to create something a bit more abstract, using the unique architecture of this church. This staircase turned out to be the perfect setting. With off-camera flash, I was able to place the light exactly where I wanted it.

I visited the location before the wedding and thought of this nice pattern: blue chairs and the eye-catching wedding couple.

My couple asked for a short session in this empty theater, an idea i instantly loved The quiet, cinematic atmosphere felt perfect. I decided to shoot down from the balcony, lightning them with a flash from the front and behind.

By stepping back, the couple becomes a subtle element of the vast theater, emphasizing the contrast between scale and quiet intimacy.
